Frequently asked questions
Do you work remotely or on-site?
Remote-first with a weekly cadence — that is the fastest path. On-site visits are always possible when the project needs them (e.g. prototype builds or alignment with your manufacturer).
Who owns the CAD data?
You do — 100%. You receive parametric CAD, STEP files, drawings and BOMs, and can quote any manufacturer with them. No lock-in, no data held hostage.
Can you work with Altium or KiCad data?
Yes. The ECAD import (board outline, keep-outs, connector positions) happens before the first CAD surface — the mechanical design always builds on your current electronics data.
Is an NDA possible?
On request, uncomplicated. The majority of my projects run under NDA anyway — case studies published with client permission are on the case studies page.
