Investor-Ready Sprint
From CAD model to a convincing prototype in 4 weeks – for your pitch deck, demo day or grant application. Timeboxed, fixed price, and at the end every file belongs to you. Built remotely for founders in the US, the Nordics and DACH.

Why an investor-ready prototype?
Proof, not slideware
A prototype you can hold answers the question no pitch deck can: does the hardware actually work? Investors remember demos, not slides.
Due-diligence-proof
Complete CAD data and documentation belong to you – no vendor lock-in, no open IP questions in the data room. This is exactly what tech investors check first.
Timeboxed & predictable
4 weeks, fixed price, weekly milestones signed off by you. No open-ended project, no renegotiation – predictable for your raise timeline.
How the sprint runs
Kickoff & concept
We sharpen requirements, integrate your electronics (ECAD data of the PCB), and define the packaging direction and prototype material. Result: a binding sprint goal.
CAD engineering
Enclosure and mechanics are engineered to prototype readiness – with electronics integration, assembly and presentation in mind. Weekly review with your sign-off.
Prototype build
Manufacturing through my partner network (SLA/SLS printing, CNC) in production-grade material. After the part review: one iteration round for fine corrections.
Polish & handover
Surfaces, labeling, documentation. Handover meeting with the complete data package – you walk away with everything you need.
What you get at the end
- A functional prototype in production-grade material – presentation-ready for pitch, demo day or trade show
- Complete CAD data (STEP + native format) – 100% of the IP rights are yours
- Prototype documentation: materials, manufacturing processes, bill of materials
- A request-for-quote package that lets you source comparable quotes for every part worldwide
- A concrete recommendation for the next step: DFM audit, rapid tooling, or an ongoing development partnership
Who the sprint is for
- Pre-seed/seed startups with an investor meeting, demo day or grant deadline – in the US, the Nordics or DACH.
- Teams without their own mechanical engineer who need their electronics wrapped in a convincing enclosure.
- Founders working remotely – collaboration fully in English, weekly video reviews with US-East-Coast overlap, prototypes shipped worldwide.
Honest scoping
The sprint delivers a functional prototype – no DFM optimization for series production and no tooling. That is intentional: only once investors are convinced is it worth investing in production readiness. The next step is then the DFM & concept audit or the monthly development partnership – the recommendation is part of the handover.

What do I need to get started?
Ideally the ECAD data of your electronics (schematic or STEP of the PCB) plus a sketch, a requirements document or an existing CAD model. A 60-minute kickoff is enough to start – the rest is clarified within the sprint.
How does collaboration work from the US or the Nordics?
Fully remote in English: weekly video reviews with US-East-Coast time overlap, milestone sign-offs via email, prototypes shipped worldwide. You do not need to travel to Germany.
Who owns the CAD data?
You do – 100%. At handover you receive STEP and native formats of all parts. There is no hidden retention right by the designer, and you can request quotes from any manufacturer worldwide.
What happens after the 4 weeks?
You receive a handover recommendation: either the DFM & concept audit (€1,200, for production readiness), rapid tooling for first injection-molded parts, or the monthly development partnership if you want the full journey to the pilot series.
